As she nears the completion of her Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) at Buckinghamshire New University, Thauraya’s ultimate goal is to continue pioneering pathways for individual and collective well-being.

Thuraya’s key projects are:

COPOPT: Creator and owner of a serious game that incorporates Positive Psychology Interventions (PPIs) to enhance resilience and general well-being.

ResilienceBOT: Designer and owner of an AI-powered chatbot for resilience training. Built on Active Constructive Responding and Appreciative Coaching principles, ResilienceBOT provides meaningful and culturally relevant interactions while maintaining training objectives.

Thauraya’s training programs and products adhere to the ethical standards established by Jarden et al. (2021), ensuring they are trustworthy, participant-centred, and culturally relevant. She advocates for collaborative approaches that adapt tools to meet the uniqueness of each individual and sustainably improve resilience and well-being in personal and professional contexts.

An innovator in integrating AI and gamification into positive psychology practices, Thauraya is bridging cutting-edge technology with human-centred design.

Thauraya is a passionate advocate for the transformative potential of Positive Psychology, gamification, and positive technology tools to revolutionize training and personal development practices.

Her long-term vision is to establish a Resilience Centre—a space for group training, well-being support, and the deployment of innovative tools like COPOPT and ResilienceBOT. Inspired by similar initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania, Thauraya aspires to create a meaningful impact on communities across Tunisia.
